Request a residence or temporary stay visa to work in the entertainment sector

Visas for professional activity in shows can be requested by artists (actors, musicians or dancers, for example) or workers of companies that promote or organise shows.

The temporary stay visa allows the stay in Portugal up to one year. The residence visa allows the stay in Portugal for a period over one year.

If you wish to stay in Portugal only up to 90 days, you can request a Schengen visa for short stay.

Any foreigner who is not a national of a Member State of the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland, who wants to stay in Portugal to exercise an artistic activity (actors, musicians or dancers, for example) or works for an entity that promotes or organizes shows.
