Apply for recognition of foreign degrees and diplomas of higher education
Anyone who has completed a higher education course abroad can apply for recognition of academic degrees and diplomas in Portugal.

Any person who has completed a higher education course abroad, at a higher education institution recognised/accredited by the competent authorities of the respective country.
Decree-Law no. 66/2018, of 16 August - It approves the legal framework for the recognition of higher education degrees and diplomas awarded by foreign higher education institutions.
Administrative Rule no. 33/2019, of 25 January - It regulates the processes inherent to the request for recognition of academic degrees and diplomas awarded by foreign higher education institutions, as amended by Administrative Rule no. 43/2020, of 14 February.
