You do not have the letter with the PIN codes to pick up your Citizen Card? You made an address change request and didn’t receive the address confirmation letter?
For 90 days from the card request date or 50 days from the address change, you may request a duplicate of the PIN letter, free of charge. The letter is mandatory to pick up the card or to confirm the address change.

Any person who requested:
- the Citizen Card less than 90 days before and had not yet picked it up
- the change of address less than 50 days before and had not yet received the address confirmation letter.
If 90 days have passed since you requested the Citizen Card renewal and you need the card’s PIN codes but do not have the PIN letter, you can request PUK recovery and set new codes. For cards issued from 16/04/2018, recovery is done by validating your fingerprints, without needing to request a new card. The request is made in person at an IRN service desk.
